Hi again folks,
well, life's been not so eventful since my day of working so much. Mom's been goin' to work, and comin' home. That's about it. Yesterday was odd. Everyone kept giving presents to Matilda. I don't know what was up with that. I want toys too! They kept saying things like Happy birthday or somethin'. What's that mean? Matti's like, um, it means national give toys to Matilda day of course. Whatever. Who's she to get a bunch of toys while I get none. I worked harder then her on Saturday I mean it. One of her toys, shoot it ain't even gunna last 2 days. Believe me! I've seen her with toys and she just like me. When I was her age, I destroyed every toy that wasn't made of solid rubber and even I could chew pieces off of solid rubber. That's how Mattie is. So anyway, one of the toys she got was this stuffed monkey. I still want that monkey by the way, and I bet he be destroyed by now I mean it. Emily gave it to her, and I saw it in my Emily car and when my mom went back upstairs for something, I pretended I was all nervous, and then when I thought Emily wasn't lookin' I snatched that monkey. If the thing wouldn't have squeaked I'd of succeeded. Man! But My Emily saw me and took it away. So I sulked all the way over to campus cuz I knew Mattie was gunna destroy it. So at campus, I had hope again because I thought, well, what if I take it while Mattie's getin' all these other toys. She got like five of them! She ain't gunna miss one monkey! But o no! She kept her eye on that monkey and I couldn't get it. I will get it though. I mean it. I'm smarter than her, and if I can get a bone I want from Winston, I can surely get that monkey from Mattie. So I went home disappointed, wonderin' when my so called birthday is, and if I'll get a monkey cuz if not, and if Matilda's is still around, I'll take it I mean it. So then tonight, I freeked my mom completely out. We were walkin' home and I saw somethin' in the trees, so I lunged for it with a snarl and mom jumped, came to a dead stop, and even let out a little yelp. I had to laugh it was so funny. All I saw was a cat. O well. Mom's sittin' outside on her porch and I am too. We're watchin' the moon. Or as Winston calls it, the big ball in the sky. He precious. Too precious for this earth. It's huge tonight. If I were less safisticated, I'd howl at it. But well, that kind of behavior is below me. I think my mom is tired or somethin'. She ain't herself. She been extra quiet all day. She didn't even mess with me like she normally does. I better go put my head in her lap and try and figure out what's wrong. I been askin' for a few days now, checkin' on her often, tryin' to climb up on her bed, tryin' to climb up in her chair with her, I always get the same response. "What Reba? Hi baby, no, you can't come up here, mama has to go to work, or get ready for work," or somethin' like that. I'm always here for her though. Always near by when she needs me. Well, again, any of you out there let it slip that Reba is sentamental or sweet, I'll beat the bunch of ya up I mean it. Y'all behave. Be back atcha soon.
Reba the dog.

Reba,
Good cover about the monkey in the car. Hopefully your mom won't find out that I let you play with it the entire way to campus. wink

Reba,
I'm sorry you couldn't get the monkey. Mattie already destroyed it with Winston's help. I'll see about getting you one of your own.
I love your blog. I'm sorry it has taken me so long to post. It's blocked on campus. People are dumb, but you already know that. Anyway, I just wanted to say that this is a great blog, and I've added it to my blog roll. You should check mine out sometime and let me know what you think.
