Long day out

Hi everyone,
Well, as my facebook said, today had too much in it to post in a status. So, I'm goin' in to detail here. We started out early this mornin'. Mom fed me and we left. For a long time mom and I stayed in the truck while my Dasher mom went in to stores returnin' things. Humans. Why buy it if you're gunna turn around and take it back? For somethin' to do? I don't get 'em. Anyway, we finally got out at the store that freeks Winston out. It was the store with all the fake animals. That store doesn't creep me out, but I always am fasinated by the little river inside the store. We go over a bridge in the store and it's real water underneath with real fish. So strange. So this store was crouded. I was afraid for my life several times. I was sure someone was gunna step on me I mean it. Luckily I got out of there with all my limbs in tact, includin' my tail. The rest of our day was spent goin' from store to store, returnin' this and that, I was followin' my Dasher mom all over everywhere. She fast too my goodness! I have a hard enough time followin' people, but her, Shoot I lose her more often than anyone else. They went in clothing stores, a grocery store, a guitar store, thank goodness I ain't afraid of those anymore cuz that would have been just mean to drag me in to a store like that. We went to a book store, and finally, we ended the evenin' with a ride on this cart pulled by a horse. That was cool! I mean, I've ridden on and in a lot of things in my career as a leaderdog, but never somethin' like this. I was fasinated for the second time today. Mom helped me up inside, and her and my Dasher mom shared a bench, while I got my own across from them. There were blankets on the cart too. Well for almost the whole ride I sat up watchin'. A man was holdin' these rope lookin' things, and they were connected somehow to something in the horses mouth. And the horse was wearin' a type of harness too that hooked him to our cart. Here's the cool part, the man was givin' him a few of the same commands mom gives me. Things like left and right. I wondered if the man was blind too and the horse was doin' the same job I do, but no, the man could see just fine. He directed the horse around things, stopped for traffic, all that. The horse told me he just pulled the carriage, the man gave him all the comands. Wow! So I'm a working dog, guess that horse was a workin' horse.
After that, we finally came home and I was glad to be here. It had been a long day. But I must say I rather enjoyed myself.
Other things we been doin' lately is goin' to parties, I went to one and thought I was gunna get squashed. The girls were screamin' and tumblin' all over, tryin' to open a present. I just watched like what on earth! It ended up bein' chocolate. Man and I thought I went crazy over food.
I been back to that place where mom goes to help with the older humans. I was more friendly this time. Mom let's me be petted there while my harness is on as long as I behave. Well I was more social this time, I wagged my tail a lot and got a lot of smiles out of them. I know I know, Reba ain't normally social with humans, but I do make acceptions now and then.
My dasher mom got me a new christmas bandanna. Cool! I love dressin' up! Mom put it on me and I danced all around with it on.
Well, think I'll go for now, I'll be back if anythin' else interestin' comes up. Y'all be good, I hear Santa Paws is watchin' for who's good and who's not. And boy am I ever bein' good!
Reba the dog.
