Hey there y'all, so I'm writin' from the comfort of my blanket which mom was nice enough to bring on this trip. It's weird though, cuz we do this kind of thing every year with these people, but my April and Winston are usually here too. This time, my Dasher dad came down and picked up my mom and me and we drove a very long way today. Think mom said we're in Florida. I thought we were goin' home to see Dasher and my Dasher mom. But no, we at this huge house, and y'all, I don't think my tail has stopped waggin' since I got here. Mom let me go and I just explored my little heart out. Then mom threw me in the pool. Shoot mom! What on earth! It was kind of fun though. I felt lots better after that. I was most excited cuz I get a break from Matilda, sorry dog, but honestly you are just too much sometimes. But I traded her in for another one. Roxie's here, and she's sort of like Matilda, accept not as inappropriate and she has a bit more respect for personal boundaries. She keeps wantin' me to play with her. Shoot! I don't wanna play witchyou. I am tryin' to sniff here, and look for food. I already got me two apple cores. Score! But she follows me everywhere, sniffin' me all over. Mom went swimming today and pulled me in the pool again with her. She held me up while I sort of paddled around the pool. Good thing too cuz it's hot in this Florida sun. Especially on a black dog. We walked on the beech tonight too. Mom put me in harness though cuz she couldn't see where to go. I was good even if I was a bit excited. Mom groomed me and wiped out my ears and I'm good to go. I'm a very tired lab right now though, so this entry is short. But I'm sure, if every day is as crazy, I'll have lots to report. So till next time y'all,
Reba the dog.
